Muah AI vs Candy AI: Which Adult AI Companion Should You Pay For?
Muah AI and Candy AI both promise adult chat with pictures. One has better images and a cleaner privacy record; the other gives you more control...
Nastia AI is the chat-first option with a usable free tier. Candy AI is the visual one, with the cheapest yearly plan and the tightest token leash. Here is what each actually costs.
Nastia AI and Candy AI get compared constantly, partly because Nastia runs a page calling itself the Candy AI alternative. That page is marketing, not a review. So here is the version with the pricing pages open.
Short version: Nastia AI is built around chat and roleplay, and it gives you a free tier you can actually use for a few days. Candy.ai is built around pictures and short video, and it has the cheapest yearly subscription of the two โ with a 100-token monthly allowance that media-heavy users blow through fast.
We have not subscribed to either. Everything below comes from published pricing, terms, privacy policies and what reviewers report. Where a number is a company claim, we say so.
| Category | Nastia AI | Candy AI | Edge |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | Ongoing chat, roleplay, companionship | Photorealistic images and short videos | Depends on you |
| Monthly price | $11.99 or $15.99 Unlimited | $13.99, or $3.99/month billed yearly | Candy AI (yearly) |
| Free version | Yes, daily token limits | 5 messages total, 1 character, 1 image | Nastia AI |
| Memory | Advertised persistent; reviewers report gaps after a few days | Storylines reported to reset after 48โ72 hours | Nastia AI, slightly |
| Images and video | Stylized images, 1080p video on Unlimited | Most realistic, image-to-video, Live Action mode | Candy AI |
| Voice | Voice messages, custom voice cloning | Voice messages, beta voice calls | Candy AI |
| Group chats | Up to 10 companions | Not documented | Nastia AI |
| Company | Nastia Cybernetics (France) | EverAI Limited (Malta) | Both EU |
| Watch out for | Contradictory free-tier wording, token-based media | 100 tokens a month, strict refunds | โ |
Neither platform is broken, and neither is the bargain the loudest affiliate pages claim. The decision comes down to what you do with the thing: type, or look.
Nastia is run by Nastia Cybernetics, registered in France. It markets itself directly as a Candy AI alternative, which tells you who it is chasing. The product is a companion chatbot with 18+ chat, character creation at no extra cost, group chats of up to 10 companions, voice messages with custom voice cloning, and stylized image generation. Video arrived in 2025 and runs at 1080p on the Unlimited plan.
Nastia advertises 800,000+ users. That is a company figure and we cannot verify it. Traffic estimates put the site around 548,000 monthly organic visits, which is real volume but a long way from 800,000 users.
Candy is run by EverAI Limited, registered in Malta. It is the picture brand of the two: photorealistic images, image-to-video conversion, Live Action mode, and a character library that includes women, men and anime characters. Voice messages and a beta voice-call feature are there. Group chat is not documented anywhere we could find.
Traffic estimates land around 332,000 monthly organic visits, with heavy affiliate traffic behind much of it. That matters when you read rankings: a lot of the pages praising Candy are paid placements.
For a deeper look at the visual side, our Candy.ai review covers the token math in detail. We rate Candy.ai 9.8 out of 10.
Candy wins on options, and it is not close. The builder lets you set body type, style, ethnicity, age, hair, personality, voice and hobbies. You can also pick from the existing library instead of building from scratch. Reviewers describe Candy's customization as more granular than Nastia's.
The catch is the free tier. A free Candy account allows one custom character. Reviewers report roughly 10 tokens to create a custom character, so even paid users burn credit on setup, not just on pictures.
Nastia says unlimited character creation is included at no extra cost, which is the friendlier policy on paper. The builder is less detailed than Candy's. If you want a very specific person, Candy gives you more dials. If you want many companions without thinking about cost, Nastia is easier to live with.
This is where the marketing runs furthest from the reports.
Nastia advertises persistent memory. Reviewers are less generous. One estimate puts roughly 50+ recent messages held in memory. Another reports memory lasting up to about two weeks. A third tester found a detail recalled on day four and gone by day seven. That is the pattern: it works, then it quietly does not.
Candy is worse on this front. Users report storylines resetting after 48 to 72 hours. Bonza.Chat and Kalon both claim Candy memory fades after 10โ15 messages. Candy Premium Plus adds 20 memory slots and user personas, which helps, but that plan's price is not listed publicly.
If long-term continuity is the whole point for you, neither of these is the right purchase. Secrets AI builds around editable Lorebooks for long stories, and our Secrets AI review explains why that matters more than another image generator. Nomi AI, which Nastia's own comparison page mentions, runs three memory layers.
Candy produces the most realistic images of the two. That is the product. Nastia's images are stylized and, by reviewer consensus, behind Candy in quality.
Image costs on Candy sit around 4 tokens per image in recent reviews; older sources said 2 tokens, so the price has effectively drifted up. Nastia reviewers report 10 tokens per image with 30โ60 second generation times. Nastia does let you upload a reference photo to keep a face consistent, which is a genuinely useful feature for anyone building a recurring character.
Nastia's Unlimited plan includes 1080p video. Reviewers describe the clips as short and uneven. Candy does image-to-video at roughly 12 tokens per video, plus Live Action mode, but it has no from-scratch text-to-video generation.
Both do voice messages. Nastia includes custom voice cloning on Unlimited. Candy runs beta voice calls, reported at about 3 tokens per minute.
At $9.99 per 100 tokens, that 3 tokens per minute works out to roughly $0.30 per call minute. Candy's actual top-up pricing may differ, but the direction is clear: talking to your companion on Candy is a metered activity.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 5 messages total, 1 custom character, 1 image |
| Premium monthly | $13.99/month | Unlimited messages, 18+ images and video, 100 tokens a month |
| Premium, 3 months | $8.99/month ($26.97 total) | Same, 100 tokens a month |
| Premium, 12 months | $3.99/month ($47.88 total) | Same, 100 tokens a month |
| Premium Plus | Not listed publicly | 330 tokens, personas, 20 memory slots, chat clones |
Candy's yearly rate is the cheapest headline number in this comparison. The problem is the 100 tokens. At roughly 4 tokens per image, that is about 25 images a month before you start paying again. Token top-ups are reported from $9.99 for 100 tokens. Independent reviewers put media-heavy Candy users at $25 to $80 a month all in.
One rival page claims Candy costs $12.99 a month. That figure looks out of date; Candy listed $13.99 at the time of writing.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Chat with daily token limits, no card needed |
| Basic / Standard | $11.99/month | Listed by Nastia, contents not described |
| Unlimited | $15.99/month | Unlimited messages, 4K selfies, voice messages, 1080p video, multiple companions, voice cloning |
Nastia claims flat pricing, no hidden fees, no token traps. That is not quite true. Messages are unlimited on the Unlimited plan, but images and voice notes still run on tokens. Reviewers report token packs at 500 for $3.99 and roughly 3,000 bonus tokens a month on Unlimited. Annual billing is reported from about $8.33 a month.
The plan names also shift between Nastia pages, and the Basic/Standard tier's contents are not described anywhere we could find. That is a bad sign for a company asking for a card.
Nastia's own comparison page claims Candy costs $30โ50 a month with token fees, $0.20 per image and $0.30 per call minute. The call-minute figure roughly matches the token math. The image figure does not match what reviewers report. Treat that page as an ad.
Nastia's free tier is the more useful one, with a caveat. The site's girlfriend page says free forever with no lockout cap. The pricing card on that same page lists daily token limits. Reviewers report about 40 free daily tokens. Nastia also says uncensored chat works on the free plan, though one review found no NSFW content in its test.
Candy's free tier is a demo, not a trial: 5 messages total, one character, one image, and no 18+ media.
If you want to know whether you like the conversation before paying, Nastia lets you find out. Candy does not.
Both platforms allow adult content for verified adults and both draw hard lines.
Candy's rules ban content resembling minors and report CSAM to NCMEC. Nastia's terms ban minors including aged-up characters, plus non-consensual content and impersonation. Those are the right rules. Read them before you build anything that skirts the edge.
On privacy, both are run by registered EU companies under GDPR. Neither offers end-to-end encryption. That means the operator can read your chats, and so can anyone with legal access.
Candy encrypts data in transit with TLS 1.2 or better. Its policy says prompts and outputs may be de-identified and used for model training with some human review, and that message content is shared with third-party model providers, hosting providers and moderation vendors. Account data is kept up to three years after last activity unless you delete it. Charges show up as EverAI on your statement.
Nastia's privacy policy was updated September 16, 2026. Encryption is in transit only. The company says it does not sell personal data โ a company promise, not something we can verify. Data goes to cloud, AI, payment, analytics and advertising processors, some in the US. The policy does not explicitly mention model training, which is not the same as saying it does not happen.
Account deletion on Nastia is immediate, but you have to cancel the subscription first. Records of rule violations are kept up to seven years.
Refunds are strict on both. Candy refunds only within 24 hours, with 20 tokens or fewer used, and card payments only. EU and UK users get a prorated 14-day withdrawal right. Nastia's terms say subscriptions auto-renew and purchases are generally non-refundable.
Practical advice: use a separate email, never share your real name, address or photos of real people, and assume everything you type is stored.
Pick Nastia AI if you want to type more than you look. You care about a companion remembering the conversation two weeks ago, you want a free trial that is not five messages, and you want a flat monthly number you can budget. Skip it if image quality is the whole reason you are here, or if you cannot tolerate a memory that resets without warning.
Pick Candy AI if you want pictures and short clips of a specific-looking character and you are willing to pay per generation. The yearly plan is genuinely cheap. Skip it if you plan to generate daily โ 100 tokens will not cover it โ or if you need long-term memory, because 48 to 72 hours is the reported ceiling on storylines.
Start monthly on either. Check your token burn for a week before you commit to a year. Candy's refund window is 24 hours. Nastia's is effectively none.
If memory is your priority, look at Secrets AI (premium from $19.99/month, editable Lorebooks) or Nomi AI. Our OurDream AI vs Secrets AI comparison covers the trade-off between story depth and media volume.
OurDream AI offers unlimited chat with 1,000 dreamcoins a month at $19.99, or $9.99 a month billed yearly. Cheap images, expensive fine print โ the OurDream AI review breaks it down.
Joi AI, run by Cyprus-based Novi Limited, uses a Neurons currency and starts around $17.77 a month. Ofcom ran an age-assurance investigation into Joi AI from January to July 2026; it closed after age checks were added. Our Joi AI vs Candy AI comparison has the detail.
Nectar AI starts at $9.99 a month with a free tier of 15 messages and 10 generations daily, but reviewers report credit top-ups of $60โ$75 a month at moderate use. Bonza.Chat markets itself on long-term memory for relationship building.
If you are still mapping the category, our guide to the best AI companion app for your use case sorts these by what you actually do with them.
Ignore the competitor pages that paint either platform as perfect or broken. Nastia's own Candy AI alternative page is advertising, and much of Candy's ranking traffic is affiliate-driven.
Nastia AI is the better buy for conversation, companionship and a free tier you can evaluate honestly. Candy AI is the better buy for visuals and the cheapest yearly subscription in the pair โ if you can live inside 100 tokens a month or budget for top-ups.
Neither has a native iOS or Android app; both run in the browser and install as progressive web apps. Neither encrypts end-to-end. Both will forget things you wanted them to remember. Decide which of those you can live with, then pay monthly until you are sure.
For chat, roleplay and price, yes โ Nastia's messages are unlimited on the $15.99 Unlimited plan and its free tier is usable. Candy wins on images, video and voice calls, so pick it if visuals matter more than conversation.
Candy has the lower base yearly price at $3.99 a month, but the 100-token monthly allowance runs out fast on images and calls. For heavy chatting, Nastia Unlimited at $15.99 usually costs less than topping up Candy tokens.
Yes if you are leaving Candy over shallow chat or token bills. No if you want better visuals โ reviewers consistently rate Candy's images ahead of Nastia's.
It is run by EverAI Limited, registered in Malta, and billing is discreet. There is no end-to-end encryption, and Candy's policy says de-identified chats may be used for model training, so treat anything you type as stored.
No. Neither has a native iOS or Android app. Both work in a mobile browser and can be installed as a progressive web app.
No. Messages are unlimited on the Unlimited plan, but images and voice notes use tokens, and the free plan has daily token limits. Reviewers report token packs at 500 for $3.99.
