OurDream AI App: How to Get It on Your Phone Without Getting Scammed
There is no OurDream AI app in any app store. The official way to use it on your phone is the mobile browser, and here is how to set it up safely.
Cancelling Candy.ai takes about a minute in a browser. Getting your money back is harder, and your tokens and data have their own rules. Here's the whole path, from the Unsubscribe button to a deletion request.
Candy.ai is easy to sign up for and slightly less easy to walk away from. The cancel button exists, the refund rules are written down, and the account deletion path is buried one menu deeper than most people expect. This guide covers all three, plus the parts nobody reads until a charge shows up as EverAI on their statement.
Everything below comes from the company's own terms of service, privacy notice and help center, plus published user complaints. We haven't logged into a test account. We read the fine print.
If you want one paragraph: open Candy.ai in a browser, go to My Profile > Settings > Unsubscribe, confirm, and screenshot the result. Your Premium features keep working until the paid billing cycle ends. Cancelling does not refund anything by itself. Refunds are a separate request with a 24-hour window and a token limit. Account deletion is a third, separate action.
| Goal | Where | Key detail |
|---|---|---|
| Stop renewals | My Profile > Settings > Unsubscribe | Premium runs to cycle end |
| Money back | [email protected] | 24 hours, 20 tokens or fewer, card only |
| Delete account | Settings > Danger Zone > Delete Account | Access ends at once; some records kept |
| Clear one chat | Reset/Delete Chat in the chat | Also wipes that character's memory |
This is the main path for almost everyone. Candy.ai has no native App Store or Google Play app. It runs as a browser-based service you can add to your home screen, which means billing lives with the company, not with Apple or Google.
That's roughly a minute of work. The confirmation step matters: if you close the tab before confirming, nothing has changed and the next renewal goes through.
Take a screenshot of the settings screen after you cancel, with the date visible. If a charge appears later, that image is your timing evidence. It costs five seconds now and saves an argument later.
Most Candy.ai plans are billed directly by EverAI Limited, a company registered in Malta. That's why your card statement shows a charge from EverAI, not from Candy.ai. Apple Pay and Google Pay can be used at checkout, but those are payment methods, not store billing. A purchase made with Apple Pay is still billed by EverAI and will not appear in your phone's subscription list.
Some plans, however, are bought inside the app stores. Those you cancel through the store, and store refunds follow Apple's or Google's process, not Candy.ai's terms.
| Billing source | Where to cancel |
|---|---|
| Card on candy.ai (shows as EverAI) | My Profile > Settings > Unsubscribe |
| iOS in-app purchase | Settings > Subscriptions on your iPhone |
| Android in-app purchase | Play Store > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions |
If you're not sure which one you have, check your emailed receipts first. The sender tells you who billed you.
Cancelling stops future charges. It does not cut you off. Your Premium access continues until the end of the billing cycle you already paid for. One third-party claim says premium dies the moment you cancel; that conflicts with the help center, and immediate loss of access only happens when you delete the account.
Your unused subscription tokens stay usable until the cycle ends, then they expire. They cannot be carried over, reactivated or refunded. If you have a pile of tokens sitting there, spend them before the period closes, because they're gone either way.
Your characters and chat history stay on the account. You can still log in after cancellation, on the free tier.
The free tier is thin: 5 messages total, one custom character, one image. NSFW media is locked on free accounts, so any adult content you were paying for stops being available once Premium lapses. That's the real trade, not the loss of the chat window.
If you resubscribe later, you start with a fresh allowance: 100 tokens a month on Premium, 330 on Premium Plus. Nothing from the old balance follows you.
| Item | After cancel | After delete |
|---|---|---|
| Premium | Until paid cycle ends | Ends immediately |
| Tokens | Usable to cycle end, then expire | Lost with the account |
| Characters and chats | Kept on account | Account removed; some data retained |
| Future charges | Stopped | Stopped, per help center |
Cancelling and refunding are different things. Cancelling stops the next charge. A refund reverses a charge you already paid, and Candy.ai only gives one if you ask, inside a narrow window.
The rule sits in section 10.4 of the terms of service. In plain terms:
There's a common claim, mostly from EU and UK-focused guides, that everyone gets a 14-day full refund. The verified terms don't say that. They prorate for service already consumed. Treat the 14-day line as unconfirmed and go by the 24-hour window unless local law gives you more.
Email [email protected]. Keep it short and factual:
Never put your password or full payment details in an email. The help center explicitly warns about fake staff asking for gift-card numbers, and that scam runs on people panicking about a charge.
Send it fast. A request on day three is a request outside the window, and support can simply point at section 10.4.
You have options, none of them clean. A card issuer dispute is possible, but it can affect your continued use of the account, so don't open one and then try to keep using the service. A separate complaint policy isn't confirmed in the available material, so don't count on an escalation route existing.
Worth knowing: refund and cancellation problems are among the most common complaints about the platform. Its Trustpilot page was removed for a review-guideline breach; before that, the average sat around 3.8 out of 5. We rate Candy.ai 9.8 out of 10 overall.
If you want out completely, cancelling is not enough. The deletion path is My Profile > Settings > Danger Zone > Delete Account.
Deletion ends access immediately, including any Premium time you've paid for. That's the difference from cancelling: cancel and you ride out the cycle; delete and it's over now, tokens included.
The help center says deleting your account before the renewal date also cancels the subscription. It also has a separate article about still being charged after deletion, which tells you how often that goes wrong. The safe order is: cancel first, confirm it, then delete. Then watch your statement for one more cycle.
Some records survive deletion for legal reasons. That's normal, and the next section covers what and how long.
Use Reset/Delete Chat inside a conversation. It clears that chat and the character's memory of it. Your account, other characters and subscription are untouched. If your actual complaint is that one bot got creepy or forgot everything, this is the button, not the Danger Zone.
EverAI is named as the data controller under EU GDPR, which gives you rights to access, deletion and portability. Ask for a copy of your data before you delete the account, because after deletion the request gets harder to fulfil.
Retention, per the privacy notice:
| Data type | Retention |
|---|---|
| Personal account data | Up to 3 years from last activity; may be cut to 1 year |
| Financial records | 10 years, legal reasons |
| Log files | 30 days |
| Training data | De-identified; kept on the company's own schedule |
Two things surprise people. First, your prompts and outputs may be de-identified and reused for AI training and moderation. Second, section 4 of the terms grants EverAI a worldwide, perpetual license to content you submit. The company says it doesn't claim ownership, and both can be true at once. The license survives account closure for anything already shared. The scope of derivative works isn't confirmed in the material we have, so read section 4 in full if that matters to you.
Age verification adds another layer. The service is 18+ with an age gate, and age or identity checks may apply depending on your location. Results may be stored, which is more data to erase later.
Candy.ai is adults-only. The age gate is not decorative, and local rules can require actual verification. The content license in section 4 is the clause to read before you upload anything you care about. Neither is a reason to panic; both are reasons to know what you agreed to.
Most people cancelling aren't done with AI companions. They're done with token bills or thin memory. Two alternatives with clearer numbers:
| Service | Price | Refund and deletion notes |
|---|---|---|
| Secrets AI | $9.17/mo annual; $19.99 monthly | Deletes profile and chats on request; refund replies within 3 business days; refunds only where law requires; crypto plans can't resume after cancellation |
| OurDream AI | $9.99/mo annual | Refunds case by case; generated images and videos are blurred after the plan lapses |
Secrets AI's privacy policy says deletion erases profile and chat history, which is a cleaner exit than a three-year retention window. OurDream's blurring is a real catch: cancel and your gallery goes soft. For the full comparison, see Candy AI alternatives by complaint and Candy AI vs OurDream AI. If billing is your specific gripe, how to cancel OurDream AI covers that side.
Cancel through My Profile > Settings > Unsubscribe and confirm. Your Premium lasts to the end of the cycle, so spend the tokens before then, because they expire with it. If you paid within the last 24 hours and used 20 tokens or fewer on a card, email [email protected] right away. For a full exit, download your data, cancel, then delete in the Danger Zone, and keep the screenshots. Prices are $13.99 monthly or $3.99 a month billed yearly at $47.88, and they may show in EUR in Europe. Cheap to join. The leaving takes a checklist.
Yes. Go to My Profile > Settings > Unsubscribe and confirm. Premium features keep working until the end of the billing cycle you already paid for, and no further charges are made.
No. Billing is tied to your account, not your phone, and Candy.ai has no native app anyway. Removing a shortcut leaves the subscription running. Cancel in Settings in a browser.
Only if you request one. Refunds require a request within 24 hours of payment, 20 tokens or fewer used, and a card payment. Crypto and bank transfer charges are not refundable.
No. Leftover subscription tokens expire when the billing period ends and cannot be reactivated or refunded. A new plan starts with a fresh allowance: 100 tokens monthly on Premium, 330 on Premium Plus.
The help center says deleting before the renewal date also cancels the plan, but it also has an article about still being charged after deletion. Cancel and confirm first, then delete, then watch your statement for one more cycle.
